Can you bend PRS???!?!

Just the other day my friend notice that his PRs would 'clip' together properly. When he looked closer the tail of one ski was bent.

It should have been straight then the tail flare, but the straight bit (after the binding) was all bent up slightly

just wondering can the aluminium in spaceframe bend so that the ski is bent? can you fix this

 
Its not the Powerfoam, its the metal layer. If you push a sheet or piece of metal beyond what is called its yield point, it will not spring back.

better to burn out...

Yeah, I've seen a few Pocket Rockets that have reverse camber. It's cool looking, but I doubt it skis well. And Usually metal doesn't bend back, and if it does, it usually breaks or just goes back to the bad way

just try to warranty them and if that doesnt work see how much they'll fix em for and if its too much try to fix them yourself and if that doesnt work toss them and buy some non salomon skis.

The titanium layer in your skis is bent. Go back to the shop and try warrantying it, but chances are Salomon won't help you out, and you'll end up buying a new pair of skis.

It's a tough situation for Salomon, because the titanium really is the best material for that ski, and is what gives it the riding characteristics it has(and that so many people love), but on the other hand, it runs a risk of deforming when used for the activities for which the ski was designed, namely backcountry jumping and freestyle.

Everyone I've run into with bent pocket rockets was refused a warranty replacement.

well if u do butters, land way back, ski like a douche ur tails will get bent. Try warrenty, but sum companies say once u slide a rail it void the warrenty.

wow. one more giant reason why solomon skis suck ass. thats hard to believe that the titanium would bend. i mean, its pretty resiliant, and it would have to be pretty much folded for it to actually warp like that. and if a ski 'folded' it would break. if they dont warenty that, i would call up someone in charge of solomon north america and bitch my ass off. thats bullshit

get your local rep's # from the shop and call him up. chances are pretty good that they'll give you a new pair. unless they're super thrashed or something.
