Can we take a moment to appreciate Bjarne Salén

Look at the quality of his footage and actually montainering skills with Cody on the Fifty. The mans has some experience in the mountains and is super humble. I mean he saw his best friends go under an avalanche in South America, but is still able to go out and ski and produce amazing content. His old videos show just how nice he is carrying extra gear so that Andreas could rip through a line and get the perfect shot. To me a pure inspiration of how I want to behave in the mountains.

Like Cody said in a recent episode, there's only a few people in the world that can do what Bjarne can, and one of the others is Jimmy Chin (my contender for most badass outdoor human). Theres hundreds of pro skiers, but to do what he does is beyond impressive.

Could not agree more

In the Pontoon episode in AK they're with a couple of Point North Heli guides, and they turn to Bjarne to ask for his opinion about the conditions and follow his decision. Later on the guy literally says "The reason I asked you is because you have more experience than anybody in the mountains". Bjarne is a beast for sure.

Im an uncultured dumb american so i have no idea how to say his name. This makes me feel weak and inferior so i didnt watch any of the skiing. . .
