Can we settle the “goggles over or under helmet” debate for a few years?

I’m confused. I thought on Wednesdays we wore goggles under… I’m old now fam, y’all gotta tell me what’s hip, and don’t fucking say ruroc. I need to land a cork 7 not spawn a chopper gunner

Your googles should go over your colourful beanie from some obscure skier-made brand...

And whilst I'm at is, your poles should be long as fuck, preferably a touring pole with large baskets. Fuck a jacket (despite the snot-freezing temperature), people need yo see your oversized long sleeve t-shirt. Pants must be black or olive coloured and are either from Harlaut Apparel or capeesh supply, otherwise you might as well not ski. Let the end of your cheap Off-White ripoff belt drop down under your top to let everyone know that you fuck with Ferdy.

Boots are obviously full tilts, drop the boot fitter, just get the sickest looking model (they are all the same anyway). Armada skies on foot with the ugliest pivots you can get a hold of.

If you decide to post your ugly cork 7 and k-fed on insta, remember to stack it full with dope as filler shots of drinking/smoking, throwing up gang signs and eating shit. The caption should either be obscure as fuck (Pro tip: people will think it's something cool only you know about), or at least swap every "s" with a "z".

Goggles over, purely for practicality. When you wanna take your goggles off real quick, just toss them up on the helmet. Opposed to goggles under and having to take the helmet off to get your goggles off
 
gogs over, if your goggles fit under your helmet, the helmet doesn't fit right. And if your helmet doesn't fit right, you're missing out on a huge chunk of functionality. Also like I gotta be honest, it's so much more comfortable, idgaf what it looks like

There's this kid named KurraKoivisto that has almost every little wave riding park rat in his back pocket rn. I havent seen so many people copy steeze since Henrik in 2009. I kid you not, kids are watching this guys every movement, hands flaired out with the white gloves, gogs over helment, pow baskets on the poles. I know for a fact im not tripping either.

Idk this dude but I started rocking gogs over when I saw Hunter Hess and zahner start doing it, but you can’t really credit people for starting “gogs over helmet” when that’s literally how they are designed and it’s been that way since the invention of the ski helmet lmfao

Everything else spot on tho it’s the combo of gogs over, hands flailing, baggy pants + tight top etc

I agree with you. Not saying he started it rather I think he was a big part in bringing it back into style for kids these days.

Goggles under the helmet is the way to go.

It’s comfortable, your goggle band doesn’t get stretched, and it’s easier to take your helmet and goggles off since they aren’t combined.

If nothing else just look at all the pros over the last 10 years. It’s undeniable that it looks better and almost all of them wear goggles under.

Let’s stop pretending that we don’t buy skis, helmets and jackets based on looks. There are so many threads on top sheet designs and pivot colors alone. Everyone wants to look good which is why it’s a joke to consider putting your goggles over your helmet like it’s your first day skiing.

LOL yeah, having those straps pressed into your skull by the helmet is like WAY more comfy. You're right, removing your goggles first and then your helmet is like SO much more complicated than taking off your helmet first and then your goggles.

honestly when i got a new helmet last year i tried to switch back to gogs over, but i couldnt do it. not even for style or comfort or anything, but whenever i crashed with gogs over theyd go flying off or get full of snow and become useless for the rest of the day. way more comfortable falling now knowing i wont lose my goggles if i stack it
 
Your helmet would come off with goggles over?? That doesn’t make sense. Even kids who wear them under will say that lol

I alternate and I can’t imagine that (I’m trying to be adult and wear them over, wife likes when I wear them under)
