Can u buy tip covers?

im not sure, i was actually wondering that too, although i probably would'nt use them. They must help with delam problems

No you cannot. Those "tip covers" are actually a functional part of the ski supposedly either to dampen the ski or actually hold the tip together. Thy do not have any protective effect. Putting them on you'r skis would serve no purpose.

ahah i remember seeing old rossignol race skis that had the like talons on the tips. Like wtf your not a dinosaur K

If I put my skis in the car instead of the rack, I wrap the tips in a small towel. Protects the skis and the car and it doesn't cost any more than to find a dirty one in your house.

Everyone saying no you cant buy tip covers is wrong. You cant purchase ones like in the picture but numerous rental shops rivet tip covers onto their skis as a safety precaution. I would assume you could purchase some from them.

you can buy them, just finding ones that will fit your skis is tough. i've got a bunch of the elan ones sitting around, but they fit like nothing else.

and like it was said before, its kinda a functional part of the ski, most companies don't have the capacity to cleanly finnish the tip and tail of a cap constructed ski cost effectively (look at k2, then look at elan). keeps production price down, while keeping the ski looking clean

Haha you're an idiot. They're for when you hit a slalom gate your tip doesn't directly hit it and it just hits the tip cover thing, "K"?
