Can someone help me fix facebook?

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem... But almost every time I sign onto Facebook I have at least 25 notifications saying "This person" has made a comment on your photo" Or "This person" has made a comment on your wall." I will click the link to their comment, but it will bring me to an application page... (I am not a member of ANY Facebook application. because they're retarded and I use the website solely to communicate with distant friends...) And I don't want to join the app. to see what they are commenting... I have even confronted the people via Facebook chat asking them "Did you comment on my photo?" To have them respond with "No, my wall is doing that, too!" Does anyone know how to get rid of this shit? It is obnoxious! Thank you!

Tell all your friends to stop being dumb and clicking on those notifications because they are scripts that intend to annoy you.

when you bring up notification click "see all" then you can choose what you want to receive notifications for

haha i had that too, the first time it was this babe had commented on my photo and it was a bunch of hearts and i was like, serious? but no, then i got a bunch more, but they are all hearts and stuff

This one is a bitch though because it mimics real things so you can't tell it not to. Plus there was a point tonight when my notifications were off the screen i couldnt even hit see all!

ya but there should be one that says "tagged photos" because normal tagged photos are includes with just "photos" so you want to deselect the "tagged photos" option, at least thats how it shows up for me, i havent had any problems since

if you click the notification bubble, and see it, you can move your mouse over to the right of the text and in the corner an x will appear. click the x to hide all notifications from whatever the app is (tagged photos) and it should pop up a box that says hide, report spam, exit

click report spam. i do this to every stupid app so that i never get bothered with them again.
