why people buy like 90dollar poles when you can get a pair for like 10 bucks that will least longer

i bought a pair for like 10bucks they have lasted me liike for ever

i agree completely. i have twelve dollar poles that i haved used for like 3 seasons. there is no use for really expensive poles
 
if you pay 90$ for poles they better be carbon at least. Only reason i can see cause carbon poles are pretty much impossible to snap, they just bend...
 
yea but you have a higher chance of getting 90dollar pair of poles but if you have a cheap pair no one will steal them and do people really break poles that often
 
The only reason people buy the 90 dollar pole over the 10 dollar one is because people assume that more expensive equals nicer. Poles are poles. They dont need all the stupid fucking carbon fiber weaves and ergonomic grips. What do you think eskimos use??? They use fucking sticks and branches!!
 
I have carbon fiber goode poles that were rentals that I forgot to return. I've used them for 2+ seasons.
