Can NS still make a difference?

Can NS still pull it out the bag on a classic contest sway?

I'm old AF and can remember the halcyon days when the power of NS could sway a popular vote, have you still got it?

Fauna Skis is in the peoples choice contest to win 10k in the FedEx small business grant and all I need is for you to go to this link and put in your email address and hit vote (daily):https://gb.smallbusinessgrant.fedex.com/en-gb/entry/BdWxsnBQ

(email addresses are only used for competition purposes, not general marketing)

takes 2 seconds, also you can vote every 24 hours until it closes on December 15th.

... peeps, don't forget to throw up upvote as you scroll by the voters...

This.

It's against the rules for me to give you anything tangible for voting but please post if you vote and upvote everyone else who posts about voting so you/they can at least get internet karma points for helping me.

fauna is the only company i fuck with on social media

nothing but positive things, i remember when y’all were treated a little bit like gilson just starting out.

[tag=249118]@FaunaSkis[/tag] Legit question to Fauna skis- If skis are made of wood then wouldnt you call them Flora skis? Or is the brand named for something else?

Topsheets are on point btw.

Apart from the Omni (which i’ll definitely get in production for next winter if I get this grant), my range of skis isn't buttery enough to call them flora

NS is the social media for those that love skiing more than anything else. It will always be able to make a difference for us likeminded people

If it's been 24 hours for you since you voted, i’d love it if you did it again.

This is what I believe will set us apart from the others, the continuing commitment to supporting each other in this community, more than the other’s fleeting support on insta or wherever.

Just to make this thread more interesting i’ll share some answers to questions I get a lot.

What made you start making skis?

It started when, for my 21st birthday, I had spent ages researching what ski to get next, and had settled on a pair of 178 volkl step’s. I had scoured the internet searching for a pair in stock and couldn't find any. I then went to my local shop and asked if they had any way of getting a pair. They got in contact with the MDV dealer and managed to get (what they said were) the last unsold pair in Europe, after they had only produced a relatively small amount of this new model. My dad found this whole ordeal a bit ridiculous and asked “if you're so particular about what you want, how difficult would it be to make a ski just how you wanted it?”. That set me off researching how to build skis and led me to the NS thread on making your own skis, which I would be where I am without.

This is why you should never feed a stray dog. They'll just keep coming back for more handouts.

A stray dog has more to offer me in life than your botched attempt at making a satirically funny youtube review.

Oh and I banged the email line again I want a pair of Omnis next season!
