Can new bindings be mounted into already existing holes in skis

I want to remove a binding from my old park ski to mount on my new ski. Can I remove the currently mounted bindings and replace them with new bindings on my old skis without weakening the ski 2 binding connection? Both bindings are look/rossi. One is the PX (one to arrive) the other is the race binding 155. Sorry for the awkward articulation
 
ya, the holes wont be in the same place for the two pairs, every different company has different placing for their holes.
 
The rule of thumb is 3 mounts until it compromises the skis integrity. Also, the value of the ski goes down somewhat for every new mount...because that's less options and life left on those skis.
 
^the rule of 3 means drilling 3 different times-not mounting in the same hole 3 times. i think that if the screw holes line up you could probably use heli-coils and it would work fine.
 
so lets say i have to pair of px12's, but ones a demo pair... can i just take a screw driver and screw the bindings back into the holes.. or do i have to take them to a shop and have them work some magic
 
Not true at all if the bindings are removed and reinstalled carefully. I had some old Salomons taken off some old Line Skogens then put some other Salomons back on them when I wanted some beater skis, they held up to a lot of abuse with no binding issues whatsoever. And this was back in 00/01 when Line's materials were really shitty. I've done it many times for customers too, it's not an issue.
 
I do it all the time with urban skis without using wood glue or anything to hold them in. if you put wood glue in the holes before putting on the second pair of bindings it will definitely be solid. although as people said in your case the holes wont match on the heel.
