Basically title. I I've got some Shreditor 112's with fks 120's that I originally had mounted back (-2.5 I think, can't remember), then I had them center mounted but want to move them back to where they were originally. Can I use the same holes they were in before?

Yes, just remove any old plug material, put new glue in, and don't overcrank the screws

Just worth mentioning that removing plugs isn't super straight forward and an easy way to ruin the threads of the holes if not done with care.

Thanks for replies guys. I plan on taking them to a shop but wanted to get more input. I'll see if the shop says differently

The plugs definitely complicate things. It might be worth putting a heli coil in each hole just to give the biding screws some extra bite.

if you don’t have to get new holes drilled why take them to a shop? they will prolly suggest moving the binding a cm forward or backward
