if you really want to make your boots softer, you grind (cut) the 'V' shape deeper on the plastic part of the boot where the first and second buckle are on the cuff of the boot. this will make the boot softer, but i would strongly suggest not doing it, as it is irreversable. if you do, make sure to go to a boot fitter. if you do it yourself, you could make it way too soft or make the boots flex unevenly. keep in mind that boots do get softer with use also. soft boots are not necessarily better for park either. if i were you, i'd stick it out with these boots until you get new ones.
