I know you can get the brakes with the turntable but i just want new actual brakes not the whole assembly. Anyone know if you can find them somewhere because im not feeling like paying a 100 bucks.

Don’t believe so. I’ve gotten lucky, homie works in a shop with unlimited new brakes so I’ve never had to buy new ones. Would be curious what the second best way to get new brakes is.

A ski shop called Forerunner in Killington Vermont. Most ski shops that carry pivots will have a bunch of extra brakes though. I guess you could try to ask a shop to buy the brakes and maybe they’ll sell it to you for cheaper then Msrp?

Yeah thanks, i live in mn which is a bummer but ill try pinewskis

dm me i can sell you some. i dont use my pivtos anymore, they are not new, but not bent to shit.

It is possible to switch out just the brake arms onto the turntable assembly, but it's a bit of a bitch, and you might not have much luck finding a shop willing to do it.

There is a great step-by-step video on Vimeo from years back that is a good resource for doing so. I'll see if I can find, and link it.

Last year, I called Rossignol in Utah and talked to a tech who sold me new AFDs and 115mm brakes for my roaches Pivot 18 World Cups. Who knows if they still do that.

Make sure you don’t get your finger pinched by the dildo…this is a real thing..I would suggest removing the dildo before hand

I'd be happy to sell you a pair of baseplates for a bit cheaper of a price from my shop. Say, 80 shipped? Lemme know!
