Can i block my roommates xbox from the wireless network?

one of my roommates has been pissing the rest of us off with his constant xbox playing. he leaves the lights and tv and shit on all night and refuses to turn the volume down. in addition to being extremely annoying, our electric bill has gone from the low 80s to upper 90s since he started playing. Is there a way to block the xbox from using the wireless router? as of now, we have just been uplugging it and plugging it back in so when he comes to to check the internet it says its working.

or change the name of your router to something like 'andrew's small penis loves xbox more than vagina' so the whole neighborhood can see his problem
 
hahahahahaha sweet. what you should to is "accidetely stick a screw driver in all of the usb ports so nothing will plug in. wiggle the screw driver around to wreck the internal components, and then dont tel him shit.
 
yeah. or go in the wireless settings on the xbox and find its mac address.

or do as posted above and change the ssid to something jokes
 
dude lock out his xbox's IP and MAC address within your router, if you don't know how to get onto those settings type in (typically) 192.168.0.1 into your internet browser

you can go in to your router and allow only certain mac id's.
Every network adapter, wireless or wired, has a mac id, a unique ID that only it will have, anyways you create a list of accepted mac id's on the router, and the router only allows them.
everyone else can connect wirelessly to the network no problem, but they cant surf.
its better than WEP security.......
 
ahahaha go on his xbox and set up the child timer. it lets them only play for a specific amount of time and then it shuts off

i'm on a public wi-fi connection right now and i just did this and got what i believed to be a control panel of the internet. should i fuck with it or is it just a control panel for my specific connection?

ha. he wont even but toilet paper for the house. he hasnt taken the trash out or done the dishes once, . over the summer, the landlord came out and me him and one of my other roommates got up at 8 and pulled weeds til 4 and this fucker got up at 11 and played grand theft auto the entire time. and he knew we were out there weeding.
 
If you got in it should be the main admin panel. If it says actiontec, or something else you're good just mess around with it now so you know where to go when his xbox is connected. Make sure you know which address his is though

my electric bill for last month is $92.37, and that's keeping a hot tub at 103 24/7. In the summer with no tub the bill is less than half.

sounds like the problem isnt "how do I get this kid off the xbox?"...
the problem is "how do we make this kid realize hes a useless lazy fucker?"

Doesn't sound only like an xbox problem. Change the password and say if he wants to play more either pay extra and also pay for other things or kick him out!

3. tell him to his face to stop the shit

if you truly do that then you'll be stoked at how persuasive you can be when you're not acting like a child. grow the fuck up.
 
Take the xbox when he is gone. Use excessive amounts of explosives, blow it up. Film the whole thing. Then leave a note out so he sees it telling him to turn on the tv and force him to watch his life explode in before his eyes!

wow simple. ask him for the extra 10-15$ he costs you monthly, and tell him to turn it the fuck down and if his name isn't on the lease then tell him if he doesn't shut up he gets the boot. or just throw the xbox out the window. or you could change the password. or call intervention and make it a tv show.
 
as long as we're bringing ideas to page 2, im gonna bring "stop acting like youre 10 and tell him to stop being annoying and/or pay a few extra dollars on the electricity bill"
