if you really think skiing is what you want to do, then by all means take it. as much fun as senior year is, high school doesn't mean shit in the long run. academic wise, i didn't learn shit in high school (but i went to a hick-ass hs w/ 250 total students). the most important things i learned in high school were through rollerblading, skiing, and traveling. the people i meant, the places i went, and the experience i had during hs taught me more than any class ever did. and what other people have said about friends is right. if they're real friends, you can come back/go to them in 10-20 years, and aside from not knowing what each other has been doing, it will be like you haven't missed a beat. sit down and take a long, thorough look at what you have, how you can change it, and what you want yourself to become.
