Can anyone help me out - know someone in the ski industry?

Hey everyone, it's always been a dream of mine to work for a ski company - so I'm trying to find an internship with a firm that is somehow related to the ski industry. Currently I'm in my first year of law school in New Hampshire at Franklin Pierce Law Center which is one of the top ranked schools for intellectual property in the country (believe it or not). I intend on becoming a patent attorney and don't want to get stuck in some boring firm. Anyway, I know this may be a long shot - but does anyone know someone I could contact that works for the design engineers or in any legal department of a ski company in regards to a possible summer internship? THANKS!!!!!!!!

I am particularly interested in a position at K2 because of the potential to work in a sports-technology environment and grow my skills. Haha yeah, I just started here. Concord's not too shabby... got my pass to Loon/Waterville which has been awesome. Too bad the work is starting to pick up and I'm not going to be able to go skiing every weekend.
 
Ahhh nice... yeah he's definitely a nice skier, cool kid. I helped out with running the ski club @ Clarkson and he was friends with Dylan (Tuckered Out Films... made the movie Retrospect) who was also apart of running ski club.
 
Yea I know dylan I film with him sometimes we actually took a trip up there back in december. We were gonna do some urban but the weather conditions were not very good.
 
o how i love reunions haha... let me know how your job search ends up, i'm looking to do the same thing once i get out of this place, what happened to law school? but yea, good luck with the search!
 
haha... I'm still in law school man. Did really well first semester actually (top 20%). That's why I'm looking for a summer legal internship. Let me know if you guys are in NH - for Loon or Waterville cause I got my pass and Gregg (the snowboarder that I always ride with) is in Boston and comes up here every weekend... we'll show you how the shire throws down.
 
try emailing all the "core" companys. they'll get back to you within a week. Try 4Frnt, Armada, Ninthward, Liberty, etc. You should get some answers from them.
 
Nice work--good luck with that. You might also try some cool snowboard companies like Never Summer. I used to work at Option, but it's a bit far away from where you live...

Check out the contact info on the company sites. For example, the info on the Option site is the address for the actual factory and offices.

hey, bump for you.. i have a similar thread up, but what i'm interested in is a bit different. a lot of the sites do have contact information for general hiring departments, but it is still hard to get responses from them. i can give you the email addresses that i found on the sites though if you want, but they aren't any insider contacts by any means.
