i do my best not to shop there, but it's so hard when they DO have the cheapest prices and I need them because im poor.
Can anyone give me some of their experiences with WALMART

i try to only go to walmart before camping trips, cheapest place to get food water beer and fishing stuff. always fun to go and people watch though always see something interesting

I do shop at wal mart once in a blue moon, it's too damn convenient.
With that said, I find it hard to believe there is a wal mart in any town in any state that isn't within 5 miles of a smaller hardware store/grocery store/auto parts store/ garden center.
The problem I see is that wal mart has it all in one place. I try to shop at small local stores when I can but if I need something from all above posted examples at once sometimes I will just make one trip to wal mart.
One reason to hate my home state??? You cannot buy beer or booze of any kind in wal mart in Pennsylvania.
And now for a wal mart experience:
I was in the auto service area of my local wal mart trying to get an oil filter for my wife's car(I had already looked in the aisle and through the filter finder book, it said they didn't have it) when I found myself in line behind a young woman. She was there trying to get an air leak in one of her tires fixed, I guess wal mart put the tires on. She was livid, she had been back to the same wal mart 5 times with the same leaky tire and every time they failed to fix it, and I'm sure they charged her every time from the sound of it. I'm not sure who is more stupid, the wal mart auto center that can't mount a tire without it leaking or fix it once it's leaking. Or the woman who repeatedly brings the vehicle back to the same shitty place that didn't fix it the first time.

The STL at our store said to price match anything if the guest said it was cheaper elsewhere. Not many people bring it up though.
