I know it's some sort of camcorder but I don't have any knowledge on camcorders. Really looking to ditch dslr's asap and get zoomy and this edit really makes me want to make the switch even more.

Also any suggestions on camcorders in the 7-1200 dollar range would be awesome!

Thanks!!7

looks like a panasonic, maybe a hvx or a hmc150

I recommend the hmc150. My favourite camera i've ever owned, fits right in your price range and doesnt have the p2 card hassle of the HVX. Jeff kohnstamm uses one and gets some real good colors with it.

an Ag-Ac130 might be a newer option at the top of your price range but idk much about those.

Not sure exactly, but I'm assuming its something like a panasonic ac160.

As said already, if you wanna go budget get an hmc150, but it only shoots 720p60 and 1080p30 so its quite out of date.

An ac160 could be found used for under 2k and it shoots 1080p60. The ac130 is cheaper, smaller, probably slightly worse low light, but shoot 1080p60 and is on b&h for 1449 rn.

The big thing with a servo camera is you will never be satisfied with the image in comparison to a dslr, but its very minimal, especially after its uploaded online.

If you wanna ball out, i've been looking at this camera, the HC-X1, panasonic servo camera with 4k60. its $3200 tho
