ok this is how to get sponsored by your fav local shop. find the iceist cliff with the hardest flatest landing and then hike up as high as you can and strait line and hit it oh ya do it switch for extra points then do a doudle back then take the film to your local shop and see what he says

Skiing should be about getting sponsers, its about having fun and getting better in your confidence and your tricks.Sponsers are there to help you perform in the sport that you exceed.

Here are some tips:

-Go to competitions and win them.

-Don't show off,everyone hates showoffs.

-Make a name for yourself thoughout your region.

-Have at least 10 years of skiing experience.

-Start with non-name compagnies (like me)

-Get a sponser plan.Pictures, competition results, explaination why me? and what are your plans.

Don't try to look for sponsers, just have fun for now.

Responsability,what's that?

im 14, and have been in freeskiing since i was 10, but im not looking for a sponsor. just enter comps, see how you do. let the companies come to you. push your skiing every day, and keep the hating at bay. dont be a pussy when trying new tricks. its sometimes ok to eat some shit.

make sure you ski with people that are better than you and dont worry about what people see go your hardest

getting sponsored isnt everything skiings about core, and you seem to be to intent on getting sponsored to no wat skiing is really all about

try making a vid and resume to show your plans for the future etc. Yeah and enter a few comps and stuff.

dude, after reading your profile it sounds like you arent even close to the best person at spirit. work at it for 2 more years, then talk to ski hut or glx or pinewskis or something. you def need to develop your skills more. basically, if you have to ask people to sponsor you, you dont deserve one. they should come to you.

ok, heres what you want to do: WIN competitions. Thats exactly where the sponsors want to be seen, on the top of the podium. When youre standing up there, try to seem like a good kid that all the small kids seem to like and talk good etc. seriously, youre never gonna get sponsored by doing tricks in a park the whole day or by sending a sponsor-me video, since 10 000 other kids do that already. Win contests, be photogenique (look good in pics), be good with the kids, and do stuff no one else does, thatll make you sponsored.

peace

Skiing is not just about getting sposored. You should ski for the love of the sport not just to get free stuff. Let the sponsors come to

being able to do that stuff in ur profile is respectable but i can do most of that and this is my first year doing tricks really. Im your same age, so dont get so full of yourself

1. Go to your local ski shop and tell them your comp results and how you want to represent their shop at the mountain and at the comps you do.

2. If the shop is down, wear their clothing and shit and tell kids to buy at that shop, then if your comp results are good, approach you ski shop sponsor on getting you a ski sponsor through the ski shop. The ski company won't even look at you unless they have a reccomendation from someone, in this case, the shop owner. If it does work out, its not like your going to suddenly have free skis and just cruise around saying 'I'm sponsored!' you will need to sell the product to the kids, do demos, and help out whenever the company is there, the company doesn't care about you, they are all just trying to make more money.

hey man i hear ya, its like my first year in the park, and none of my friends are all into it, they're like yeah whatever we'll never get sponsored or do well...

but really, if you progress alot, i think you could, and so could i, i'm gonna go for it man, just keep learning new stuff, go big, enter competitions, and show them that you are worth it.

keep skiing as much as u can, try new tricks, u say ur gettin a tramp...try stuff that uve neva tried on ur tramp n then try it out wen skiing starts again

hey its me guys thanks a lot im sorry for my other posts thats just not me ive noticed im going for one in 2 or 3 years maybe even when im 19

ski everday

Ok, for starters you are not that good. you say that you have been skiing for 2 years. who cares? I have been on twin tips for 1 year, i don't take the sport as seriously as you seem to take it, and i am already infinately better than you. That is beside the point, don't try to be sponsored, there are a huge list of reasons why you would not want to be. 1) you have to enter comps whenever your sponsors say so. 2) You are basicly a sales bitch, the list goes on. There are many perks to being sponsored as well. 1) you get free shit(sounds like you are desperate for it) 2)It is a great feeling to be recognized for what you love to do. Also when that kid said grow some ball hair he was being generous, I say grow some balls. All of those tricks in your profile that you seem to be so proud of they involve no potential death. And please don't ever mention how willing to improve you are, from the looks of it, you are more or less a poser. If you want to be sponsored start doing better tricks, enter comps and let sponsors come to you. dont ever go begining to a ski company for sponsorship, it is pathetic. IF YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH THEY WILL COME TO YOU! IF THEY HAVE NOT COME TO YOU THAN YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH! by the way unless you are 12-14 and can do switch cork 9's, or are good for marketing, sponsors don't care about your age. at this point in time you are better to be 25 and doing d's and shit than 14 and doing!SWITCH 180 SAFETY GRABS!- stop trying to be sponsored and go ski, that is what it is all about.

anyone that skis just to get sponsors shouldnt be allowed to ski. That is the fucking lamest reason I have ever heard to ski.

what's there to 'point'... be consistent, good, make a promo vid, and send it to some reps. you might want to get into a few comps too.

...stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
