Campus Rail Jam Tour (SSA), Portland State University

Hey guys,

I recently recieved the position as Student Snow Ambassador(SSA) at Portland State University. My main job as an intern is market the CampusRailJamTour and to get everyone stoked for the event! I have been connecting with people on and around campus, but I also want to hit the heart of the main skiing community here on NS. All I ask if your willing to add my Facebook group to stay updated on events, and when I'll be giving out free gear and other goods. All the adds are appreciated the more the better, gotta blow up Pioneer Square this year with a ridiculous amount of spectators and riders! I will be riding Timberline, Meadows, and Skibowl hollar at me.

If you have any questions email me at davidstudentsnowambassador@gmail.com

Cool, someone else from the PSU snowboard club is here. When is the rail jam taking place? Six or seven months from now? Or is there going to be a winter tour? The judging better improve, the ON3P riders got hosed last time!

^ you cant be mad about the scoring, everyone who placed in the finals and corvallis stop that i was at definatly deserved it.

Sammy Carlson and John Spriggs were the judges.
I think they did a fair assessment of judging.
There were riders who absolutely slaughter it! Does that mean they automatically win a rail jam because of their name?
No.

It is not that the winners were not deserving, they were good, but where the judging was open to criticism was in which skiers advanced out of the prelim rounds. I met Sammy at the rail jam btw (claim) and he was totally cool and chatted with me (insert plug for the Mountain Shop where his brother works) even though I am a total nobody, so I will not criticize his judgment any further. Perhaps it was Sprigg's fault :P
