Whats the Best ski camp to go to? I dont wanna spend a ton of money but i dont wanna go to a shitty camp either.

 
Ok, the best ski camp is by far camp of Champions. i went there and it kicked ass. But also High North looked really kool. most ski camps are about the same. But you could prolly jsut go up to whistler fer a week, live in your car or a hotel or sumthin. btry to buy like a public park pass or sumthin. then ski the publoc park . ppl did that then they would moock off other camps.

 
its a personal opinion... research all the camps and figure something out

k without a doubt high north is where its at, #1 they have the best coaches, #2 we have the best park, #3 we are the only camp to have a dedicated DJ on our lane and the only camp with a barbeque, dont believe me? ask where all the pros were even if they were with other camps, yeah you guessed it high north... but research it and everything i think youll come to the same conclusion

anyways, i went to windells and it was hella cool. i def. suggest it, but i dont know about all the other ones.

 
dood i did so muych research. SO much, because my family doesn't have much money and it was a very tbig thing i didn't wanna fuck up,

i ended up at coc, and i thought it was the best time of my life. no worries, whereever you go you will love it

just look, peoiple from each camp say their's are the best. you can check out comparing camps at campofchampions.com it helped me

but therer is so many small things that matter, but no matter what you'll love it

and money is all within like say 1 or 2 hundred bucks, so either way, its the same price.

I went to sms last year and it was good the best lane looked like high north though. I think out of the camps at whistler high north looked like the best. I dont really know anything about hood though

hahahaha sms? that had to be the biggest joke. we would just laugh at your lane over at COC. and if high north was so damn good then why the hell would we spend so much time snowballing poachers from your camp. No one from our lane would poach. Oh yea because we had the best shit and even though this doesnt have much to do with it we kicked your asses in paintball. The War of the camps is always on in the summer.

K THIS IS FOR THE KID THAT SAID THEY BEAT US IN SOCCER, AS MUCH AS THIS IS TRUE LETS SEE YOU GUYS HAD LIKE 2 CAMPERS ON THE WHOLE GAME AND HALF YOUR TEAM WAS PPL NOT EVEN IN THE CAMP.... AND ITS THE FIRST TIME IN LIKE 6 YEARS.... sorry for the caps lock..... oh btw man just open your eyes and realize that high north is representin'

 
the reason coc is the best camp (which it is) is because you can do whatever the hell you want. if you want the coaches will be with you the whole time helping and whatever if thats what you want but if you want to just go ski you can do that too it was definately the best scene though

 
camp revolution. no contest, sick jmps and the sickest pipe on the continent this summer. and the sickest coaches and it was oh so cheap.

it's all a matter of personal prefrence really. i went to high north and loved it. there aren't as many campers so you get to know all the coaches alot better. but, if dig a more relaxed 'do whatever the hell you want' scene, COC is the is the place to be. high norths park was killer, but coc's looked pretty good too.you'll have fun anywhere you go though.

 
THE neil turner camp.. we hike up and camp on whitler glasier(not blackhome) then we have hole montine to sare selves and then i drive a groomer up and we make are own park

 
personal preference - SMS cause i suck and need the guidence from easly, douglas, burke and the like to make me do a 3, but high looked sweet, until their insurance fell through and couldn't even ski, sucks for those gusy, it canceled the whistler open and they couldn't use their lane for a few days. so next year its SMS again

Bullshit easly doesn't teach at SMS, he was my coach one day, and i have him talkin about my jumping and skiing on film. He was definatly up there and i chilled w/ him at lunch and made fun of him at night when he was completely smashed on kokanee, which he drinks like water. but yeah, he was there, 80's heavy metal shirts, rocker wig and all. Whoever said he doesn't teach there likes the cock

strider, what session were u there. cause i was there 2 and 3 and he wasnt there while i was there. the coaches were mike d, philou, vinnie, sarah, phil belenger, ianic, trennon, smiley and andre. but boyd wasnt there, i wish he was but not during session 2 or 3

Lineskier i was at session for, so there ya go, yeah boyd and kristi leskinen were there, but vinnie and philou weren't. Boyd was an awesome coahc and tight guy, kristi was cool, but didn't really do much as a coach, she tried to correct me spins, and i dislocated my hip.

ya COC has a BBQ and a half not to mentiion all the free shit they give away. its impossible to leave that barbeque without an armful of swag. its chill. im just kiding about the other camps its just a thing that will always be. Th war of the camps. but if your on the glacier your in the right place.

 
I heard coc was just like you hit the jumps and the pros hit the jumps, you could ask for help but they were sorta reluctant to help, When I spend $1500 for a week of skiing I want to do more than just ski in a park I want coaching, I used to think high north was the best but after the insurance fiasco (wow am i smart or what) I was thinking sms

me and some friends (cspeer1080)(matt richards), (goinbig6), and my brother all went to mt hood for a week and skied with boyd easley and jon ollson and jf for like a whole day, we hit the c-box with them and hiked the park after it was closed and then chilled in jon's el'camino.....listen to some tunes... good times.. oh yea... none of us were in camp! but they were cool with that.... just thought i would share my summer experience

 
I went to DAve Murray and I had a blast. Myles, Mauro, Rex, and Felix were awesome. I heard good things about COC,HIgh North and SMS. Each camp has numerous different perks to offer and you just have to know what you are looking for in a camp. I have a feeling that many people on this site are either going from what they have heard from a secondary source or have a limited knowledge of what they are talking about. How many of you have gone to ALL the camps on the glacier and are able to make a good decision as to which is the best camp.

I chose Dave Murray cause their park is geared towards less conifident riders adn the jumpers are some what smaller and less intimadating. The number of campers that they have is also less so there is less time spent waiting for jumps.

My 2 cents worth!
