just wondering want to go there for the may1st to june 1st pass that like 100 dollars or something, any places to camp at or sleep in a car whatever? sorry if this is a repost couldnt find anything

im not from the area nor have i ever been there but, in Ski gabber i know there was a post about how to camp there and where at. I guess there is an airstrip near by where you could camp forsure and its pretty close and it has a lake/pond you can bath in. there's usually people there too so try to find that in ski gabber sorry if i didnt really help but i have heard of many successful stories of people camping

Itll prolly be cold and rainy, just letting you know. t line people will kick you out if you park there too long. And tent camping could be pretty bad with the rain. There is a hostel thats 20 bucks a night. If i were you i would call them and ask if you can get some sort of deal, there pretty cool. Just google mt hood hostel

yea thanks for the help guys, but yea i literally wont have any money while im there so im trying to stay in cars or tents with tarps over them and eat granola bars everyday ha

i don't knwo how i got into oregon forum but camping in your car is always doable. pretty much anywhere will do, (ie. walmart parking lot) back lot of ski resort, two track, chill parking lot of your choice, etc.

I suggest looking into removing your passenger seat and make a bed if you're in a car, you will really hate yourself if you have to sleep in a car seat nightly for any more than one night

hope that helps

so just bumping this thread, how chill are they with you sleeping in a car in the parking lot? my friends did it for almost 2 weeks then left last year will it be ok this year?

your allowed to sleep in the parking lot whenever. in your car of course. or go to airstrip or tillium lake.

I car camped at a parking lot at the beginning of the roads to trillium lake last night. There is a shit ton of snow everywhere, i dont think the roads will be driveable for a few weeks. It is pretty cold too so bring the warmest stuff you got, I'll be sleeping in warm clothes, inside a sleeping bag, inside a NASA heat blanket tonight.

Is a plow gonna fuck my car up if i park in a snowy parking lot?

I know last summer, one of my friends got some shit for staying overnight in the parking lot and had to move. No tickets or anything, but they might ask you to leave. Really tho, May- June is kinda down time at TL, as most people don't arrive till June, so I'm sure most people won't care.

So I have a few questions. I plan on going to Timberline for a week in mid-July. I want to camp at Timothy Lake but I don't know how far away exactly that is from the resort. And if Timberline has a park in the summer for sure? And how much for a ticket?

shit me and a crew of peeps are coming down on the 16th to camp and ride. Kinda going to be stranded if we cant get into trillium since i dont know the area too well. Are there any dry camping spots/dirt roads round govy?

yea there are few little ones i think, but i am in the parking lot now and have been for over a week and its been really chill.

thanks for the update. If you are still up there and feeling lonely you can come hang out with us haha
