Camping at Mt Hood

im going to ski timberline for a couple days.. and i am wondering if there are campsites close to the resort...i really dont want to stay in my car...

you can usually camp by trillium lake (prolly spelled it wrong), it is a sweet place to stay usually, but there still may be to much snow there right now

snow down there is pretty much gone. hoods had to weeks of sunny warm weather. and were looking at another two!
camp in the tline parking lot. free better way to go.

You can also go just about anywhere off the old access road.

when i was ther last year around the begining of july there was to much snow for trillium but we went into the parking lot right below the gate and camped in the woods

Trillium lake is gorgeous, but I've never camped there...I'm assuming you have to pay(?)

i did nottingham for 2 weeks a couple o weeks ago and it was off the hook but when i wass leaving there was talk of them starting to charge. dont know if they are now but the place was sick.

Airstrip is legit. Did that multiple summers in a row couple years back and it was an awesome time. It's free too and lake trillium is a short drive down the road. Def recommend it.
