The real secret is in posters. Get some spinners on there and some neon underlights. Maybe subs to really draw attention, but those might push the price a bit.

set up a road block in the hall, with liek 20 of your hard core supported, make T-shirts and have pamphlets and really talk to peopel and egt out your platform, the more effort you put in, the more people will know you want it and will work hard once in office
