Ooh hey deerr! If ya'll havent seen this yet click this link!
http://campofchampions.com/theCamp/digger/default.aspx

For the second time in history the Camp of Champs is having the Make Me a Digger Contest so one of you lucky participants can come hang out with us on the glacier raking snow! Hooray! Besides having input on the best summer park out there, you also get a whole ton of swag and a bunch of time to shred around testing out all the features we're gonna make. Good times nonetheless.
I'll be helping judge this contest so get out there into the pow, into the streets, out the back door- JUST BE CREATIVE AND SHOW US SOMETHING DOPE. It could change your life and keep you desk-free for many years to come! Just make a video of your setups and yourself and upload it here on Newschoolers.com. Send it in to info@campofchampions.com and post it in this thread to show off to everyone.
Cant wait to see some entries!Salt LifeBailey

ya so cant post my vid on ns... but heres my entry:

Hello,

Here is my entry to the digger competition

http://kgb-productions.com/clients/tucker-mead.mov

And here is why I would be a great digger:

While I have a slightly different skiing background from most of the contestants, there are several reasons I think I should join the digger crew at Camp of Champions. The first of these being I am a 5th generation cattle rancher from Wyoming, so when I am not digging in the snow I am either digging fence posts or digging ditches. And, while these may be different types of digging I think the concept stays the same. These past two seasons while attending the University of Utah I have also been working on a film that highlights the many remote mountain ranges in Wyoming. Making a movie on a minimal budget has definitely added a level of difficulty to getting to these places, and I think we can all agree hiking something over and over again is a lot of work! I am very passionate about skiing so all the energy put into it is a small due to pay. I would be stoked to spend the summer working hard and skiing!

Thanks,

-Tucker Mead

wouldnt be surprised if you got it! that was hilarious and sick at the same time! not sure if i can compete with that but i might as well enter anyways... goodluck!

Well, I was scrambling to make my edit really fast at the end of our season, just found out about this competition. I entered into it 3 years ago, but now I have way more experience. Several days before shooting I fell onto a rail and bruised a rib, so I was hurting making this video, but stoked to have the opportunity. I have expertise in digging at Breckenridge, but I have always wanted to be able to dig in Whistler for a ski camp in the summer. Check out my NS profile/pictures/videos for more stuff on digging/park crew. Hope you enjoy the edit :)
