What kind of jumps am i looking at when i go to SMS? like size and shit. do they have good kick etc......im just wonderin

I never actually saw it because i was at session 1 and i guess they didnt build it until the last day or something but i think its just a striat jump with alot of kick and not much travelling distance, lots of up.

wait, i'm at COC first sess.....so will i be missing like some of the good jumps?

i dont know how it works at COC but at sms session 1 they didnt have a bunch of rails yet and philou wasnt there! crycry

Oh yeah, it was also frikin cold for that time of the year and raining, and all the pussies were going in early, and vinnie was pissy because i wanted to say out. fun stuff though

no sms is not private. The ONLY private park is COC, which is why i am going. all the other camps share a park and pipe, camp of champions has there own, AND their own lift-the other camps dont

the other reason i am going to session A is because that is when the least rain is, it gets worse as the summer goes on

Yeah sms is private. Everyone was pretty bummed on the weather, you couldnt see the fucking lip of the jumps from 30ft at most times.

i think session 2 or 3 would be best, its not that late into the summer, and they've had a lot of time to get the jumps up, and perfected them, snow hasnt melted toooo much.

from what all media claims, COC is only private terrain and lift. all other camps share terrain and lifts.

I heard ses. A is best because most snow, coldest, and least rain.

yeah, i walked up the mountain through COC the day the lifts broke down session 1 (if anyone remembers that) and their lift seemed kinda scetcky, like one of those ornange flap kindof lifts

COC doesn't what is what. Anyboady on the glacier can poach their park and they'll have no idea. You can't poach SMS, except on off days.

 
not really. all the camps pay for their own spot on the glacier and don't want outside people riding their terrain (high north, COC, SMS, Dave Murray's camp, and all the mogul and race camps) there is also a public ski lane and a public park & pipe. COC is the only camp with their own TOWROPE lifts, they usually have 2 running, 1 for pipe and 1 kinda in the middle for the jumps and rails. COC definitely has the largest area and the most terrain features, but they also have the most campers and largest camper to coach ratio. I coached there last year and it was pretty fun, but this year i am just going out for 2 weeks to live in a condo with 8 friends and just ride & film and party at night. should be ill. i'm going to hood for the beginning of july then i'll be in whistler july 15-29. it's gonna be a good month for sure.

 
all the camps are private, whoever tells you otherwise is lieing. Second SMS and Highnorth would appear much more private than COC since they have 250 people. High North and SMS almost have as much room as COC cause there 1/2 pipe is not on their lane where as COC's 1/2 pipe takes up most of their lanes.

Also there were numerous people at High North who poached COC to see what it was like and I dont think anyone poached High North, the camp is so small you would notice

ya if your looking for any decent coaching and private atomosphere do not go to champions. they have crazy amounts of campers and a lot of stuck up coaches in my opinion. last year they had nothing in the way of jumps tho, cause i think the mountain came down super hard on them because of all the serious injuries on their lanes a couple of years back. They do have the sickest rails on the glacier tho. High North and SMS are much more private and have a lot less numbers. The coaching is much more direct too. They do share the public pipe, but it has been better than COC's most of the time, and the public doesn't even get to hit it till the afternoon anyways.
