Camp Bisco 2015

Just found out the festival moved to Scranton. Extremely pumped about this considering I go to U of Scranton.

Just wondering if any NSers were planning on attending. I know there are (or were) a couple who frequented it.

lineup and venue look sick.

hoping they are doing day-passes, just moved into the post college grad arena and cant take a week off my new job.

Will be attending, may be staying at the comfort inn at montage though, I stay at that hotel for work so I get a crazy rate. Still deciding though I really do love the camp enviorment

Surprised you just heard if you live in scranton.

Not sure if I'm going. Was really hoping they'd scale back the electronic shit that ruined that fest but I guess it's all about those ticket sales. Seriously though. If they did a year with more bands the crowd would be smaller and the vibes would improve massively.

Idk, might go though. I do love the biscuits.

Ive heard of it, Ive just never been. And I live in central PA. I just go to school there. Im surprised it hasnt been a bigger deal around campus though. Then again, 80% of my campus probably has no clue what camp bisco even is. I tweeted about it moving to scranton and the only recognition it go was a tweet back that said "It sounds like a fat camp..." So that explains that.

Word. I thought you were saying you were in scranton but I guess its summer. It was in ny semi close to me in the past. And that sounds about right honestly.

Idk, 2011 was a shitshow when the edm wave took off, 2012 was still a shit show. I didn't go in 2013.

The big problem is half the people there, probably more these days have literally never heard of the disco biscuits. That's pretty fucked when they're the band who's festival it is and playing 3 nights there. 2011 really sucked because there was no age limit. A bunch of kids doing bathsalts in a field while legit kids like 5 year olds were running around.

I hope they'll scale it back and get less edm for a while and try and recover what it was but no way that'll ever happen. The production company want's ticket sales so that's what it's all about.

If I'm around I'll probably go. Never made it to peach fest ever but did a show at montage a few years ago.

Idk it's a good time, it'll probably be a great time I just like seeing festivals get better not go the other way. If I go I'll have a good time, I'm not a huge buzzkill by any means I just want to see fests with good vibes and better music.

If you go have fun be safe. Also buy a test kit for you and your friends because since 2011 %90 of the people are doing fake molly. The edm wave and huge crowds of college and even high school age kids really support it. Just be safe out there. will cost you around $20 and could save your life. You can test up to $50 times so itll make it through your weekend nd beyond. You can even charge a few bucks to test shit for people and help your neighbors out.

Might bring a whole bunch of kits down to sell honestly for that reason.

BE safe, have fun
