hey im interested in filming in editing i was wondering if anyone could suggest a good camera, but not to expensive, and a good editing program for a mac other than imovie. k cool thanx

i swear this has been asked a million times. nyway. best editing program for mac = final cut pro. but it also depends on which mac you have. because it doesnt run as well on some of them.

Wrong.It depeneds on how good the Mac is like..memory,ram and all that stuff wise.

A good cheap camera can be a GS400 or like a dvc30.

Try to get a 3ccd camera, it will run you about $400, and then final cut pro is great, but super expensive.

im sorry but u sir are wrong.ram cannot make up for a deficiency in graphics cards. take the new macbooks for example. the macbooks have an integrated graphics card that will not run final cut. and wat do u think i meant wen i said it would only work some macs? adding ram always makes things run better but it cant make up for other things such as a graphics card or processor. processor these days really isnt a problem tho because they are all crazy fast.
