Camera's?

I'm thinking of upgrading my 300$ Samsung camcorder. What camera's do you guys have and how much do they cost. Also are you happy with them?

go to www.bhphotovideo.com and check out the consumer, or even better, the prosumer camcorders.

personally id get a canon GL2, Panasonic DVX-100A, or Sony VX-2100. but im guessing you dont have the $2-4000 to buy a DVX.

another camera ive used is the Canon GL1, and while not as good as the GL2, its not bad. stores dont carry them anymore, but you can find em on ebay sometimes. also, same the sonyt VX-1000, the older brother of the VX-2100.

Take a look at the Canon Optura series of Cameras, my friend has the Optura 10 and it's a great camera. The controls, the quality, everything is pretty good.

I have the kyocera slr400, it's super small and slim, very easy to carry in a pocket. 4.0 mega pixels, so descent quality, but i bought it because it takes 3.3 frames per second. It was around 250, my only complaint is the battery seems to freak out in the cold.

theres no need for a GL2 or a VX2100 unless your filming proffesionally.check out the panasonic pv-gs200,120,or 400. Great camcorders

seconded. I have an Optura Xi. I like it a lot. GL2s are great cameras, but i don't think this kid really needs one that nice.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed
