Im lookin to buy a camera this summer to film some urban. I would be trying to spend 2,000-3,000 for a whole set up. Does anyone have suggestions on what I should be lookin at?

I don't really have a filming style. I don't really film to much but me and my brother are looking to start filming some urban. My coach suggested a 60d. It seems like a great camera but I don't know much about cameras so I could be wrong.

other than budget there are a few things that you need to specify:

- how much time do you plan on putting in to learn how to use it?

- do you have any equipment already?

- do you have any expierience with filming, editing etc?

- is it going to be just you using it, or are you planning on passing it off to a buddy to film you?

- do you want it just for video or do you plan on getting into photography as well?

- are you only planning on using it for skiing, or are there other things you want to film as well?

etc... but in all honesty, searchbar is your freind....

From youre very vague post id say 60d is a strong choice. That or any of the rebel cameras if you wanna save a bit. Then blow the rest on a kit of lens, decent tripod, decent mic, and possibly a glidecam. And bam you're set.
