just looking for a nice camera for filming. want the price at around 250-300

The gopro HD is really the best quality you're gonna get for that kind of money, otherwise you'll just be wasting money. I'm guessing you don't want the gopro HD cause it has no screen, but really, it's not that big a deal and the quality is FAR superior than any other $300 camera out there, otherwise, save your money and try and drop at least $600 on a decent HD camera.

Take the GoPro HD..

At the end of season you will can buy a LCD screen for the GoPro
