I'm thinking about getting a good camera and was wondering if any of you guys could suggest good models.
 
for most people on here a dvx isnt exactly a budget camera.. for most people a budget camera is probably one of the lower gs models.
 
I just orerd a Canon GL2 i did alot of research its an awesome camera for the price but i dont know personally yet
 
If you're looking to buy something in the lower price range check out the panasonic pv-gs 85 and the 320. They're both great cameras for the price.
 
haha yeah i'm sure 2,500 is "on a budget"

if you can sack up 1,000 bills then you can get a VX1 with a nice fish eye / wide angle.
 
he didnt tell us his price range and the dvx is the best camera in its class, it beats vx 2100 and the gl2. and it goes for 1800 on ebay used
 
i totally agree with holding off on the HDV cameras, unless you have a lot of bills to throw around aimlessly. its hard to buy a camera thats not going to be out of date in a year, such as the shitty HD cameras coming out now. the GLs and VXs have always been good choices. i would hold off on the HD stuff for a little while though, i bet theyll figure all that stuff out in time though.
 
ive got a panasonic gs500 and its pretty good quality and a verry decent camera, i got it from like $700 or so..
