well most people use VX's but i dont think thats what it is because you can watch in HD ithink? So if you want a camera becuase you like the quality in those videos get a DVX or a HDR FX1000 if your willing to pay big bucks but if you want a good HD camera for the price look at the canon line they have Full HD cameras for 600-1200$
haha what? That response thoroughly confused me. First off... vx? most people? what? #2. dvx does not equal HD. #3. he wasn't asking what camera to get
in response to the thread, i believe they shoot with a sony fx1, but other people also shoot with/for them who may use other cameras. As for editing system, i have no idea, but i would assume either premiere pro or final cut pro; they're both pretty much the same.
We primarily use a Sony FX-1 courtesy of SkiTheEast.net and Final Cut Pro 2.
Other cameras used last year include: GoPro Hero(weird angles/underwater), Canon point and shoot(when we got lazy), and friends cameras(Panasonic HVX and HPX, Canon GL1 and Sony/Canon HD handicams I don't know the name of).
