my birthdays coming up and i want a new camera that my parents will pay half for. i was looking into the canon rebels (the t2i, t3i, t3) and like those. but i cant decide if i want to get a video camera that tkes good stills, or a dslr that takes good video. what are your suggestions.

Hate to be that guy but, Media and Arts is where this should be. And fill out the sticky in media and arts too.
