I am probably going to buy a camera in the next few months. I am not sure which one to get, I would like it to have good image quality fast shutter mode and not to expensive. give some suggestions please.

Nikon D3000 for a less expensive DSLR
Nikon D5000 seems pretty bamf - movie modes, 4fps, pretty cheap.
or you can get a D200 mad cheap these days. I love my d200, I've had it for three or four years now and never a problem knock on wood.
Price range for those will be approx $500-$600 a used D200 runs $599 @ B and H which is a steal.
I paid almost four times that when it just came out.
I really don't know canon too well, so I don't want to say anything regarding their stuff. I am just a nikon person.
