Camera Problems

ok so i just got a nikon d40 and i noticed in this picture and many others that there were 2-3 discolored pixels that are different in every picture. Could the problem be dust? or is it a sensor problem?the picture was taken at iso-800, odds are you wont be able to see the pixels on this so download the picture and zoom to the circles

it's not dust, those are dead pixels. Bring the camera into store that carries nikon and i think they can either "remap" them where they become disabled and are then filled in with an "average" of the surrounding pixels or they just send it in and tweek stuff, i dunno. but pretty sure that's not dust
 
a phone rep advised me to do this wierd hard reset and that seems to have worked but if errors remain i bought it through costco so i can just return it
