Alpa 12 SWA, it's a medium format tech camera with Schneider lenses and built in vertical rise. They are hand holdable and not to big, landscape and architectural photogs love them. Built in Switzerland, can accept digi mf backs. Cost about 10k.

Because german glass and swiss engineering are actually good quality and are intended to be used by the highest level of professionals and there for cost real money. When the lens you put on it is a schneider APO and their "small travel" camera comes new with a 50mpx hasselblad back on it, I think you can tell the kind of product we are dealing with.

Not even that. If Leica made a 6x6 with an M6 body, all would be forgiven.

Sure there's the Mamiya 6, but I can't use that to fight Nazi scum.
 
i had a 50 lux pre asph on my ttl earlier so basically the second photo (that's a millennium so same thing basically)

sean get an aki ashi 4008 cover and a chrome MP advance lever ;)

These are so stupid and basically impossible to use on a film m without a lot of wasted shots.

How about something more practical like the new MS optical 24mm that just got announced. Waiting for sample images from it, if it's good I'm gonna get one probably.

De Oude Delft 50mm f0.75's are just modified X-ray lenses.

The glass will make you nurse a semi but the images will be softer than the belly of an undomesticated Vicuna roaming between an altitude of 3000 and 5500 feet and the depth of field has to be measured with a caliper.

Nice for tumblr pictures and the odd experiment but not a real world lens, by a long shot.

That's the point. You can't really even compare it to anything on the digital still photography side of things. It defined an entire generation of filmers. If you weren't shooting skate videos with this in 1997, then you were wasting your life.
