CAMERA LENS HELP! HELP! HELP!

dont forget about the 85 1.8, probably one of the most overlooked underrated lenses that canon makes. If you're looking for a portrait prime, grab one.

As for a standard prime, the sigma 30 1.4 is a fantastic lens for crop cameras

so far I've been recommended the canon 35 and sigma 30mm. what would you choose? I need a good low light fast lens that can take indoor portraits etc

A 30 is going to be pretty wide for portraits, same with a 35. maybe a 50 1.4?

true I think I'm gonna try to pick up a used 50mm on here. if anyone knows anyone selling one for cheap let me know haha. and I think I'll eventually buy the 70-200

what is the best diagonal fisheye for my 7d, help please. I am not sure if my camera store can get a hold of a sigma 10mm

Be careful with that Sigma. I don't know if it was just me, but out of the box it was super super soft 90% of the time. Found out it was cracked on the inside somewhere. Check it out as much as you can inside the store before you buy it. I mean you should do that with any lens anyways.

Go for the Canon 17-40. It's going to produce much better quality images and seriously no one wants to watch edits filmed completely with a fisheye. Plus, if you want to shoot portraits with it you could get away with it in a way.

I've never used a canon fisheye, but my sigma 10 2.8 is a amazing. It's an ugly looking lens but performs so much better than I exspected. Super shard aswell for filming.
