so i have a thing with making edits and shit but i have to do it with my friends camera and whatnot, getting kind of old, and since i am new at the whole filming thing, what would you guys recommend for a camera that would give me the most for my money as a beginner? thanks for the help

go and by the cheapest mini dv-cam you can find (but make sure you can screw lenses on them), buy some big spare batteries (cold just eats battery) and finally get a fish-eye lens for mad follow shots and a stand for filming from one spot

that should keep you happy for quitte a while

it's not worth buying a very expensive (yet very good) 3ccd camera and trash it due to moisture or fuck it up due to vibrations from skiing/crashing

you know that if there is a jump/rail or cliff to hit you'll do it, with or without a camera in your backpack

We just got a cheap mini dv, and i'm not very impressed. make sure you get one with that has a picture steadier, or whatever it's called.

Sony vx1000 is a great camera. great quality and everything. it may be old and does not have an lcd screen but whatever its a great cam
