And I'm sorry, but the myth that the cameraman is more important than the camera is a total lie. It's true that a crappy filmer with a nice camera will still make crappy footage, but that doesn't mean a great filmer can use a crappy camera and make good images. At most, they will make good images in terms of that crappy camera, but it will still look like crap. While this is an extreme example, my point is that the DSLRs lack important features like wavelength monitors, zebras, or 4:2:2 color sampling, although for some skiers these may not be important. They're still really nice cameras, in fact that's what I'm going to shoot for my next project, but they lack some important features that many users hope will be granted with firmware update.
