Camera help

I was thinking something like a vx2000 but thats a little to much i just want something thats really good on the moutain.

I would say the hv30. From what I have seen, as long as you know how to use a camera well, it can put out some AMAZING image for its price range.

GL2s are great digi cams if you're going for the film look. Obviously, the HV30 kills it in resolution, and if you know your way around around After Effects, you could really make it look like film. another good thing about them is how they have basic manual controls (shutter, aperture, gain), so that can teach you the basics of cinematography. I remember it was MUCH less unforgiving in low-light, which is one of the things I liked about it. If you're shooting some dank pillows on Lo Los with minimal light, you get a super grainy image that looks amazing in black and white.

Personally though, I think the GL2 is great because it emulates a nice grainy image with minor post-work.

Alright thanks do you know anywhere in town that you could buy them, i saw the gl2 on ebay but i wanted to check in town first.

buy my vx, maybe I'll cut you a deal, then you can have a good camera
