I have gotten into editing recently and I am looking for a good camcorder to use this winter. What I need in this camera is pretty much three things 1. Has to be compact (carry it in my jacket) 2. Image stablization 3. Puts out a good picture. What would you guys recommend for those of you that film in the winter time. Thanks for the help

true dat. I have an HV20, and it takes amazing picture. I've heard good things about the sony HC9, but i've never used it. If you're wondering, there are very few differences between the HV20 and HV30. HV30 is the newer model.
The main tip I have for you, is stick to BHphoto or amazon. There are tons of sketch websites with unbelievable prices. they're all thieves and scammers. stay away.
