Camera choosing helpppp

so last year i started filming a lot of stuff

and it really like it and i think of myself as pretty decent for filiming and editing

so this year since i have an injury to my foot and wont be progressing much ski wise

im buying a new camera instead of new skis

to get away with using my parents little shitty video camera haha

so im looking to spend around 1000-1300 on a USED hopefully bit above decent camera, but thats negotionable.

does that price seem reasonable though?

and i dont know that much about what cameras are out there and ive only really looked at like

a gl1 and a gl2....would they be in my price range if i looked hard enough for a used one?

or what are some other cameras that i could look at that would also be good for skiing

and sports in general?

yeah for 1300 you could get a gl2 pretty easy,  i doubt you could find a vx21k, mabye a 2000.   but watch footage of every camera your considering and read up on them that fits what you want. no camera is really better than another, it all depends on what you want.

maybe a cheap vx2100. those are pretty well known, and theres a million add ons for them.
