Camera battery dies from cold

Is there anything I could do to extend the battery life of my vx-2000 on the hill. I literally got 7 minutes in before it died. Just wondering if anyone has some weird trick or solution or maybe some advice. Thanks.

This is your only solution. Could also try a new battery, the cells of your current one might be no bueno

Ive got a second one actually and plan on bringing it with next time
 
I ski who my camera In my pants to keep battery warm. I put my nutsack right on top to help keep the warmth

I'm not getting a new cam and also gopros serve a purpose for sure and the new ones actually seem pretty high quality, but thats not what I want. Im stoked on my vx bro.

The easiest way to fix is just bring extra batteries. You can also film longer with more battery’s so it’s always a good idea. For the same reason always bring extra SD cards or dv tapes for the vx
