why do they suck so bad. i charge mine and then they die like one hour later. and then i try to use other batteries and they wont work.

I dont know, same deal with mine. They die in like 40 minutes. And I really dont want to get one of those fattass 6 huor batteries that wiegh like 10 pounds.

that seems like a short amount of time, what kind of batteries do you have? i use rechargeable Ni-MH ones, and i have like 4 sets i keep rotating, they last pretty well. also, i hardly ever use the lcd screen on my camera...that drains batteries real fast.

some camera's tend to use up batteries really fast. you might try turning down the brightness of the lcd (if you can) and using it less often.

Not using the lcd screen isnt an option, unless I wanna just wing the filming and hope for the best while im filming (or being filmed). The reason I cant/dont want to is because I have a hand-made handle right in the way of my other option, I'd rather be as accurate as possible.
