what do you guys use while skiing

im pretty sure im getting the dakine sequence

any reveiws? or knowledge on it?

Depends how much gear your going to be carrying. For a basic film or photo setup with your body and a fair amount of glass and maybe a flash go with the sequence or zoom. If you going full out 2 flashes, flash stands, wizards, bodies, glass, and other components, you going to want one of the bigger lowerpro bags.

for shoots where you need some mobility, if you are carrying a DSLR body with 3-4 lenses and a flash, you can't beat the lowepro slingshot... it's a messenger style bag that swings around opens like a mini table in front of ya, no need to put your shit down in the snow.

IDK about that. It will hold all that stuff, but the only thing I don't like about mine is that I can't keep my 70-200 on my camera. It's about 2 inches too big to fit in the bag. If your OK with putting on and taking off lenses, it's a great bag, it's so comfy, and has good straps and padding, but for long lenses it isn't great for leaving them on.

I use a lowepro computrekker aw.

Fits my D200 with 70-200 2.8 and battery grip attached. My D70 and all my lenses, flashes, batteries, tripod, etc etc etc. However, it's not the most comfortable bag in the world.

I fucked up. I have a tamrac adventure 7. That goes by what I said. The expedition will no doubt fit a lot of shit. I like having a place to put other things besides my camera tho, which is another reason I like my bag.

oh opps

i meant to say camera as in camcorder

i have an optura xi and some glass probly extra batts and accessories

small load

dakine sequence pack. not many stores have it but check out dakines site. its the only bag that i could find that i could take my skis and avalanche gear with me along with my camera gear.

i have the lowprowe photo trekker. i can fit a few flashes, 30d with grip, 70-200 2.8, 3 other lenses, gl2, accessories, food, binder, tripod. its a sick pack although its expensive.

I just ditched the lowe bag for skiing and picked up a sequence. Get one, it's so much more comfortable than the lowe bags for riding. I can still cary both of my bodies, 4 lenses and 2 flashes in it no problem. And there's plenty of room still available for other items like PW's and whatnot.

I have that for my vx.I have to like put my tripod in it a ghetto way under the velcro flap then use the bungee cord to hold it in place even more.

Well the tripod is actually really stable in it.Its a good bag.Its good for traveling sence you can put a laptop in it.

I use a Lowepro Minitrekker classic for my VX and that works fine for me. I rarely ride with it though unless I'm at a resort like Stratton where everything is huge.

Christmas is coming up and I need a camera bag. I've read through here and such but I need a deffinite answer for this. I'm sure someone is in the same situation as I am. I need a backpack to carry my vx1000, dslr, tripod, batteries, 2 flashes, 18-50mm couple other lenses, wide angle, tripod and tapes. I might also want to carry my laptop or extra clothes and such.

actually go to skateperception.com to the forums. theres a stick of like 500 bag reviews and it seems like almost every one has a vx
