I have a canon Hg2o and my broken arm this year means i'll be filming a lot and trying to take it easy. I'm trying to make a list of some accesories i should look into getting heres a list:

-Opteka .3x Fisheye/baby death lens for sure

-Monopod or the opteka camera handle, some thoughts on which?

-recommendations for a video light on the cheap side, yet good enough for night filming

-good extra batteries

If you wanna film skiing at night (thats not at a resort) you're gonna need to light up everything.

Get a tripod before you get a handle.

a good tripod

generator and worklights if you plan to shoot night stuff

a good wide angle lens instead of a fisheye, wide angle looks much better imo

and you can always make yourself a handle. its easy too. but first i think you should still purchase a nice tripod. you wont regret it.

i have a tripod and it will be filmed at a resort at night, so there are lights, but i figured it'd be good to have some light focused on the skier.

i know i don't want vig, i wasn't sure if a cheap wide angle lense would have vig while an expensive one would be much less
