Camcorders???

I am looking to get a camcorder which will mainly be used for skiing, my car racing and misc. BS. What do you guys suggest, im looking for something small, digital of course, good zoom features, good quality, and affordable. Thanks

 
Do what I did buy a sony Handy8 trv250 from walmart for 420$ and return it before the 90 days is up get a full (no hassle guarenteed) refund after you made your movie. It comes with a usb cable to upload it one your computer and software to video edit. Just thought Id throw that in there

i just bought a cannon mini dv for 500 and it works really well... im very happy.

ya im reall bummed that i got a usb cable.... fuckin takes half the quality out of all my vids! and i dont wanna buy a firewire bcuz its expensiveeee.... got any help?

get a Canon they are the best, JVC is the worst. And dont waste your money thinking anything other than miniDV. If someone in a store tells you other than that they are a liar.
