Camcorder repair?

So i busted my sony mini dv cam filming this weekend( i got some nice powder shots) but it seems that it won't focus anymore and the colors are off. has anyone had any camcorder reapir done? if so how'd it go and whats the cost usually run?

it's gonna cost a lot, i can tell you that. Can you manually focus it? If so, might just want to keep using it. Are the colors off just in the viewfinder/lcd, or does it record them innacurately too?
