Depends on what you are looking to do with it. How big? Do you have the capability to use HD on your editing software/platform? We need more info......

I do TONS of vid editing and stuff so I can help you out but I need some more info on what you need......

I'd start looking at SONY though.....

canon hv30 or wait for the hv40 to come out.

hv40 is gonna suck. hv30 ftw. the only thing different about the 40 is it has native 24p
