Does anyone own a JVC everio. Could you please tell me if the video quality is as good as a normal DVD camcorder? Or could someone tell me other camcorders that have good video quality for under $550? Thanks to anyone who answers this.
 
search on google, if it's a new-ish camera there's going to be tons of reviews about it that explain everything in detail, including video quality and what it compares to. i don't mean to just throw out an answer of 'search, damnit!', but it really will help you more than we can unless someone actually does have that exact cam. you'll get your answers quicker anyway.
 
they both are poop. Save another $200 and buy a TRV900. You will not be dissapointed. its what JP uses to film helmet cams and UP1/UP1.2
 
the quaility of a dvd camcorder is awful in the first place. I wouldnt recomend a dvd camcorder to anyone unless they were just filming like family birthday partys and stuff.
