Ok well I didnt want to make this thread but I bought a camera off "Shiftysteeze" on here about a month and a half ago. We agreed that for the price I

would recieve the camera, lens and tripod as well as the standard stuff

like manuals and charger. Well I got the camera and lens, ( In much worse condition than described) but nothing came with it. I didnt get the tripod, or the charger or manuals. So I sent him a message and he said that it was all in another box and he gotten sent back to him and he was sorry and would send it out again (with extras) the next day. So I figured it was cool and Id get the rest in a week or so..

I never got the second package, and this was right when he stopped logging on NS. I was smart enough to get all his contact info, as well as other info. I tried calling him but he never picks up and Ive talked to his friend "fuckyocouch" (super chill, trying to help me.. + karma) but when he talks to chris, chris just tells him he sent it and Im lying.

Im not really sure this thread will do much, and I know what Im missing isnt very expensive, but its just real annoying to be lied to.. I didnt have a charger and was expecting it so I didnt go buy another one. But the camera died on the second day of having it. ( 3 flash shots and the batteries already on its last bar). So I had a dead camera for about 2 and a half weeks before I finally went and bought one.

He lives in Salt Lake City and I can pm anyone the address to anyone whos willing to go check him out and see whats up.

you could post his phone number for NS to call drive...that'd man anyone up to paying.....but that'd be mean
 
$330 for the camera lens card tripod and all that shipped.

so not a bad deal but I got a camera in poor condition and only half of what was promised?
 
rebel xt. and ya I went ahead and bought 2 extra batteries and charger.. package.
 
nice i rember that thread the cam looked pretty good condt and get a battery grip they saved my life casue u can use aa batteries if u in where no power
 
ya I thought about getting one, but then I saw a place where I could get two extra batteries plus a charger for 20 bucks so I just went with that..
 
ya dude thanks for helping but I dont think ill drop another $150 on a camera Im already having problems with.. I keep getting spots in all my pictures.. its not dust on the lens cause ive cleaned it a thousand times.. I also cant get the flash to open up.. I have to maually like pull it up and I think its only making the problem worse.
 
dont know havent used the xt but i think it basiclly the same as the xti so clean the hinges maybe and u cleaned the sensor or the lens
 
damn, sorry dude but that means you have eithier dust or a sumdge on you sensor, this is not good. While you get photoshop it out it becomes tedious....i will suggest going on flickr and going in to the forums part of the website and search for different sensor cleaning techniques..that really sucks and is kind of a cheap shot if you get a camera, because its impossible to see when buying
 
ya the guy above helped me and showed me how to open up and I just used a blower to try and knock some dust loose but Im not sure if it fixed it or not.. but back to the original post.. can anyone help me out regarding unshipped goods?
 
well everybody does call him shifty. he says he sent the package, but cant find the tracking #. WHAT THE FUCK?!? sorry I cant help more. peace
 
dude that is really not chill, i live at this house too and i would prefer not to have this escalate. you guys really need to have a conversation and resolve this. thanks

 
hey finally logged onto ns and I messaged me.. were working on it to say the least.

Also ya posting it wasnt what I wanted to do and I even asked a mod if it was ok and I got a yes.. glad its been removed I guess because Ive got his attention.
 
Serious!? What a dbag. Get someone legit from NS that lives in his area to go have a chat with him if you can, cause thats not cool
 
well it wasnt just a fuck off, he said he had sent it and given me a tracking id and that if I didnt get it it was their fault not his.. even though I have all the messages and there is no second tracking id..
